I very rarely buy off eBay because I have an irrational fear that somehow I'll be scammed and someone will run away with my money. Although I suppose there are much more worthwhile customers than scamming a lowly student, but maybe beggars can't be choosers. However after having made a lengthy list of some more Korean products I wanted to try out, eBay seemed like the most affordable option to feed my beauty hunger. I liked the prices I saw on testerkorea, but with the amount of stuff I was buying, shipping (based on weight) would cost a bomb. So eBay it was, which came with free standard shipping that would roughly take 3-8 weeks to arrive. I decided to place my first order with the seller rubyruby76 (who also has a website named roseroseshop) based on the huge amount of positive reviews. I was pleasantly surprised when a package arrived on my doorstep in Auckland just 10 working days after I had placed the order. Everything was wrapped nicely and although they don't have a free sample policy, they chucked in some samples of their new skincare line, Neulii. The next seller I placed my order with was f2plus1. This one is even more established on eBay than rubyruby76 but I did find they were just a tiny bit more pricier for some products at least. However it's good to check out both stores because each has products the other doesn't. I was equally impressed with this seller's fast shipping, I also received the package within 10 working days after I placed the order. I know I would have received more free samples here if I hadn't divided my order between the two sellers but I wanted to try both out and ultimately I saved some dosh in the process #winning. So I now have even more products to try out over the next few months but I'm sooo not complaining! I've actually opened a few of the products already and I'll be posting my short reviews in the coming days. I've had a few hits and misses, but so far my obsession with all things Korean beauty-related has not lost its steam!
Lots of love, Kiwi Girl xx
